About
At the age of 13, Michael Gray discovered what he wanted to do for the rest of his life: earn a living by telling stories through film, every day. By the time he was collegebound, he was named “One of the Best Young Black Artists in America,” which came along with a scholarship to one of the most prestigious film schools in the country.
After graduating from Emerson College, Michael worked with the Academy Award-winning production company Partizan Entertainment alongside famed Director Michel Gondry on large commercials and the film The Green Hornet. He left Partizan to focus on digital content working as an Executive Producer for Disney's Maker Studios where his team garnered millions of YouTube subscribers and billions of views. In 2012, he left that all behind to start his own production company focused on harnessing the power of digital content. There, he produced content on five different continents, working with some of the largest brands in the world producing national branding campaigns for Coca-Cola, American Express, Mizuno, and Shell.
In 2017, he shifted again, this time to focus solely on creating social change through filmmaking. As much as he loved the multi-million-dollar production budgets of national brands, he wanted to work on projects that improved people’s lives. He’s since mastered the art of telling a story in 90 to 180 seconds.
